Make sure you bring flip flops to the medical facility for the shower, even if it’s female there’s always hair in the drain to worry about. If this is a psychiatric medical facility then possibly they keep much better care and have separate showers but I’m just cautioning you of the worst that might take place whether you’re male or female.

I don’t know about all centers but in free-standing facilities around here there are usually two people in a room and they share one bathroom in the room.

The restroom is private he does not lock. Each room has their own restroom you show one to two other individuals. If the door was closed you just knock before opening it to make sure no one is in there before using it. I had not concerns. Showering is like how showers in some swimming pools are set up or schools. There’s a bunch of showers line up with curtains. Each one gets their own privacy. I forget if there was a schedule. But it’s only one person at a time in the showers. You had all the personal privacy. I never ever took longer then a half hour so no requirement to look at me. Hope this responses your questions.

Client particular. Depend upon what the person remains in for and if self-destructive then the door can’t be shut. It needs to be left broken with personnel standing outside
