It all depends on the individual, percentage or dose of CBD in the oil and the reason for usage…
The general rule is start low and go slow… because it’s a oil, I’m assuming your using it sublingually? When you ingest Cannabis it takes a bit longer for it to kick in because it has to go through the digestive system.
When you start I highly suggest keeping a Cannabis journal, put the date, time & dose then record any effects.
Do you notice a decrease in any symptoms? Did you experience no change?
If you didn’t notice anything try upping your dose… if you tried 3 drops the first time with no results, try 5–6 drops and repeat the questions.
That totally depends on what you are taking it for, how severe your symptoms are, and how well your body utilizes it as everyone is different. (your endocannabinoid system)
I personally take the Medicinal Essentials 1500mg CBD Oil. (sometimes I up it to the 3000mg) for Fibromyalgia. Some people with less severe issues may use a 500 or 750mg. They have a 300mg, but in my opinion, that is just like taking a vitamin supplement for prevention, which is good, but if you have issues, go for something stronger.
There are a number of factors such as weight, diet, metabolism, genetics, environment, product consistency, and more that contribute in making a dosage appropriate to consume.
Keeping this in mind, it is safe to start with the minimal suggested CBD dosage on any product, then gradually increasing the dose until you start getting the desired results. After a period of time, your body also starts getting adapted to the dosage. In my mother’s case, she needed a higher dose and Lumen CBD is the only brand where we found the products with most potent doses.·
