Should I hire remote software developers from Turing.com?
It is so hard to hire strong engineers for my company in San Francisco.
if you are referring to those deceptive commercials…..they are trying to sell you a part C plan instead of original medicare (Parts A, B, and D).. at minimum you have to pay the 144 in my state, many have additional premiums. no plans in my state give back the 144
or you can be referring to the qualified medicare beneficiary program where if your SS is low enough, medicaid pays your premium. that may vary by county/state…..the SS has to be very low, i think about 1200/month in my state.
you would have to pick a zip code and then look up what the income cut off is qualify
.realize if you get benefits like SNAP/energy assistance, that could be reduced or eliminated once you are no longer paying for medicare.
Contact your trusted insurance agent that is knowledgeable in Medicare. It is not an easy topic as cost, needs, drugs, and doctors systems are covered in different plans. They can help you.

Never heard of a Medicare give back benefit. But I looked it up, it’s a medicare advantage plan that you pay for and returns your part B, but your overall plan still costs more. Check the medicare website for zip codes that have those plans
If you have any clue where you want to move, check with an agent licensed in that state. My guess is that your best bet would be someplace demographically like the one where you live now both size-wise and socio-economically. Plans that give back that much are rare, and because they do this year doesn’t mean they will next year.
For what year?
Which “give back” ?
The Medicare Advantage give back because you use the VA and the plan has no Rx? (most areas with just MA plans)
The semi false advertising for Medicare Advantage give back because you are on Medicaid (all states)
The Medicare Advantage give back because they trimmed benefits and give you premiums back instead. (some states – pick with care)
Bottom line – there is no something for nothing – and I have 20 years of Medicare coverage assistance in 16 states
But once you identify a place to move to – check that MAPD plans are offered. Then identify a qualified broker, and talk to them about the area where you are thinking about.
make sure you look at all costs – a 148 or less “give back” does nothing for you if your rent or costs are 150.00 or more higher per month
if medical care is for shit in the area or on the network they “give back” in
Where can I find a list of medicare giveback benefit (that returns $144 or such) zip codes? I am moving and want to find a zip code where I can keep this benefit. I don’t want to move to a zip code where this benefit is not available anymore for me.
How can you find a top financial advisor in the U.S.?
Hiring the wrong financial advisor can wreak havoc on your retirement. This tool is changing everything.
There is no such list. As far as my experience, the give-back is when your state pays for your Part B premiums and people qualify as Qualified Medicare Beneficiaries, similar to Medicaid except if you are 65 you must enroll in Medicare. You can try calling Medicare or look at their website.
To answer your question directly…
these giveback part b plans are ALWAYS Medicare advantage plans. To get a list… go to Medicare.gov, enter your zip code that you want to move to… and all available plans will pull up. Word of advice… I wouldn’t dial in on just part b giveback. If one plan has a $7000 max out of pocket and a $0 premium and high copays for doctor visits, etc… while another ine has a $0 premium, a $300 max out of pocket, coupled with low or 0 dollar doctor copays and more benefits… then screw the part b giveback benefit.
I advise people all the time… when choosing. Insurance plan… choose it like you’re going to have to use it… because if you fo have to use it.. you won’t regret your choice.
It is not a give back. It is a zero dollar Part C plan. There are no premiums but the co-pays are enormous. My sister had one and we both went to the same doctor for the same procedure. Under my Part B plan with a premium I had no co-pays. My sister had a $300 co-pay. Do your math.
As many of the resonses here suggest, a Part B premium giveback plan is often not the best option. It depends on the other plans available in one’s area and, more importantly, on one’s particular needs. You can find out what zip codes and counties have these plans available by calling the EasyMedicare hotline at (877) 202–4812.
MediCAID and MediCARE have similar names but are vastly different health insurance programs; this is the open enrollment period for changing MediCARE plans based on zip code between Oct 15-Dec 6. MediCARE is funded by insurance premiums paid from payroll withholdings and administered by the federal government. MediCAID is a state-administered program for low-income; therefore, there are asset and income limits. Some States may allow changing your MediCAID private insurer by zip code.
- MediCAID is administered by the states: eligibility and benefits vary from state.
- MediCARE alternative health insurance plans are offered by authorized private insurers: plan types, premiums, and benefits vary by county even within the same state.
Both Medicare and Medicaid are overseen by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

The plans are not meant to be the same for every zip code beyond having to cover what traditional Medicare A&B does.
By county, allows private insurers to offer different plans with additional benefits at a higher premium for those counties where a significant portion would pay more.
I saw one Platinum Concierge health plan for my county with an estimated $60,000 out-of-pocket costs (premium, copays, deductibles, & prescriptions) . In my county, there is a small pocket of ultra-wealthy.
