Who owns the World Health Organization?
No one owns them. They’re not a private organisation, they’re a specialised, semi-autonomous division of the United Nations responsible for international healthcare. Any member state of the UN can also be a member state of the WHO.
Their stated objective is to work towards “the attainment by all peoples of the highest possible level of health”; to which end they monitor public health risks, coordinate national and international responses to health emergencies, provide technical assistance to affected countries, set international health standards and guidelines, and anything else needed to promote human health and well being.
They also play a key role in advancing our knowledge of healthcare- they publish the World Health Report, which provides expert assessments of global health topics and health statistics on all nations, host summits and discussions on health issues, and collect data on global health issues through the World Health Survey.
The WHO has been instrumental in the eradication of smallpox, the imminent eradication of Polio, and the development of an Ebola vaccine. They are a definite force for good in the world.

Edit: It seems they are for sale to the higher bidder (briber?). For now, they seem to follow Chinese government instructions. They did a lot of damage by misinforming the world about how serious the Covid-19 virus is. Documents prove that since November 2019 until mid-January 2020, WHO played by the script from Ghinese government.
However, it seems CIA had people on the ground last fall and informed US government about what’s happening. Nobody did a thing, though.

World Health Organization is part of the United Nations Economic and Social Council, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland.
So in a sense, every member of the UN owns a piece of the WHO. A smarter way to think about it though is that no one “owns” it. The WHO performs it’s most important function when it can operate in every country, monitoring health, and being able to deliver care. That doesn’t fly if for example, the US owns the UN, which owns the WHO, which now can’t go to China because President Trump pissed off President Xi. Go figure.

No one owns WHO, The WHO, composed of representatives from all 194 member states, serves as the agency’s supreme decision-making body. It also elects and advises an Executive Board made up of 34 health specialists. The WHA convenes annually and is responsible for selecting the Director-General, setting goals and priorities, and approving the WHO’s budget and activities. The current Director-General is Tedros Adhanom, former Health Minister and Foreign Minister of Ethiopia, who began his five-year term on 1 July 2017. I think I have made this pretty much clear to understand.
The World Health Organization was set up by the members of the United Nations in 1948, Every country in the world that is a member of the United Nations may be a member of the World Health Organization and most are. It is presently based in Geneva Switzerland. The work of the Organization is carried out by a World Health Assembly that meets annually and elects officers and appoints an Executive Board and management. Member countries contribute to its funding.
Word owned may be wrong but esentially the Rockefeller foundation are the ones who funded & helped aid in its start up. They are one of the worlds most powerful families & certainly can control what W.H.O investigates or discloses. Follow the money, while every country donates it is still a subsidiary of Rockefeller.

Nobody, although the US and Europe probably have the most influence on the organisation. If you look at its leadership, you can see that they are respected doctors and scientists from around the world, from big countries like the USA and China, as well as small countries like Ireland and Trinidad & Tobago, so no one country has any particular influence.
An important aspect of this is its governance, i.e. what it does, how it does it, and the records of all of this. This information is completely public and anyone who claims the WHO is run by China should read this.
